Mold contamination continues to be a major news topic. Although really dangerous molds are not an everyday occurrence, any mold has the potential to cause health problems if a person is allergic to the particular strain, or ingests large quantities.

From initial air quality testing and mold identification to remediation methods, every aspect of this subject raises difficult questions and the choices you make can have huge financial consequences.

At 24Seven ™, we provide you with a balanced perspective of the scope of the problem and suggest reasonable approaches that handle the problem without going overboard.

All of our Certified Mold Specialists undergo rigorous, ongoing training. Adhering to strict EPA, state and local containment, construction and remediation guidelines, our Mold Teams cost-effectively eliminate mold and restore affected areas to their pre-affected condition.

Our team of skilled professionals do extensive testing, take numerous moisture readings and thoroughly evaluate and monitor the remediation process – which includes containment, removal, disposal and any necessary repairs – to ensure a certified clearance.

  1. Fix the source of the moisture problem as soon as possible. Keep heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) drip pans clean and flowing properly Vent moisture-generating appliances, such as dryers, to the outside when possible. Maintain low indoor humidity, below 60% relative humidity (RH), ideally 30-50%. Perform regular building/HVAC inspections and maintenance as scheduled.
  2. Clean and dry out wet or damp spots within 48 hours. Don’t let foundations stay wet. Provide drainage and slope the ground away from the foundation.
